Failte Romhaibh uilig Go Léir
Tá failte romhaibh iulig ar ais don scoil bhliain nua agus fáilte speisialta a chur roimh na Naíonáin Shóisireacha.
A warm welcome back to all our students, teachers and parents for this new academic year 2022-2023. I would particularly like to welcome our new junior infant pupils who are doing remarkably well and have taken to school life like ducks to water. It’s always a time of mixed emotions for parents as you send you little ones out on their path to independence and life-long learning but be assured we will look after them very well and hopefully they will grow to be happy, fulfilled and confident children. Welcome also to the new girls who have joined us in other classes in the school. I hope they will be very happy with us. In Our Lady of Mercy, we work hard to create a safe, secure and happy environment for all the girls.
The start of this new school year brings some changes to our staff. Firstly, I want to wish Ms Clare Murray, every success and happiness as she moves on to a new school and I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new staff members, Emma Hyland, Aoife Hession, Leah Walshe, Laura Hayes, John Lee and Daisy Hickey. We hope they will be very happy being part of the OLOM team.
I wish all involved in our school and wider community a wonderful year ahead and we look forward to making happy memories throughout the school year.
Le gach dea-ghuí,
Siobhán Hanly
