Every year in Our Lady of Mercy Convent School, we celebrate Catholic Schools' Week. This gives us all an opportunity to think about and talk about how we can best "love one another".
Catholic Schools Week was a great success this year. Classes attended the 10a.m morning Mass and all came away feeling hugely uplifted by the warm address given to them by Fr. Paddy. We also celebrated the ethos of our Catholic school and the contribution of the Sisters of Mercy to education when 5th and 6th Class visited the Mercy International Centre. Our final day assembly on the theme of St Brigid was a perfect compliment to the theme of the week 'Living in Harmony with God's creation' and a fitting celebration of our Catholic faith.
