Engineering Week Feb 2024

What a great way to start the new term in school with the marking of Engineers' Week from Mon 19th to Fri the 23rd of February. Throughout the week the girls have been engaging in many different activities and lessons to promote and raise their awareness of engineering's contribution to society. With the well received visit of the 'Nutty Scientists' they got to celebrate the positive contributions that engineers have made to the quality of life and the world in which we all live. 

The students completed many activities on engineering and the importance of engineering. There were workshops conducted by teachers and outside agencies. We had a wonderful assembly where we learned about many women in STEM.
